Cancellation & refunds

There is no lock-in and no notice period. You can cancel your subscription yourself, at any time, from the subscription screen inside the app — you do not need to email us or ask anyone's permission.

Cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Until then the service continues exactly as before, so a cancellation on the second day of a month does not shut your pump down on the second day of a month.

You may also cancel immediately if you prefer. That is the right choice when you need to register a different card, because a mandate authorises one instrument and a new card is a new authorisation.

Fees already paid for the current billing period are not refunded, except where the law requires it. You keep access for the whole of the period you paid for, which is the practical equivalent of a pro-rata refund and simpler for both of us to reconcile.

We do not charge a cancellation fee, an exit fee, or a fee to export your data.

If you believe you have been charged in error — a duplicate debit, a charge after cancellation, or a charge for stations you had already archived — write to us and we will investigate and refund what was wrongly taken. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5 to 7 working days, subject to your bank's own processing time.

New subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. Your card is registered at sign-up but is not charged until the trial ends, and we send you a reminder before that happens.

Cancel at any point during the trial and you are not charged at all.

Switching between monthly and annual takes effect at your next renewal, not immediately, so you are never charged twice for a period you have already paid for.

Adding a station gives you access to it straight away and is billed from your next renewal. Archiving a station stops it being billed from your next renewal; its records stay readable, because GST requires them to be retained.

Maxify Fuels is software delivered electronically. Nothing is shipped and there is no physical product.

Access is provisioned to your account as soon as your sign-up is confirmed, and is available over the internet in a browser or on a phone. A GST tax invoice is issued for every billing cycle and is available to download from your account.
